Meet Jennifer Fouse Sheorn

Jennifer is a graduate of Presbyterian College (Clinton, SC), where she also had the opportunity for a semester in Beijing, China. After PC she served as an Intern with the Clemson University Presbyterian Student Association. During her two years at Clemson she discerned a call to continue her education and theological training.

Jennifer attended Columbia Theological Seminary (Decatur, GA) where, as a part of her program, she spent time serving a church in Seattle WA. After graduation Jennifer worked as a Chaplain at a Psychiatric Hospital and Drug and Alcohol Detox Facility outside of Atlanta. She left Atlanta in 2003 and went to Vanderbilt University as the Executive Director of Presbyterian Campus Ministry. She served for seven years working with students, faculty and local congregations.

Jennifer moved back to SC where she served as the as the Interim Presbyterian Campus Minister at Furman University in Greenville, SC before taking a call as the Associate Stated Supply Pastor at Fourth Presbyterian (Greenville SC).

Jennifer has served in Conference and Retreat Leadership in a variety of positions within the Presbyterian Church USA. Because of her experience with young adult worship and student ministry she has been called upon to write curriculum and Worship resources for the PCUSA. Her Coach training is through the Coach Approach Ministries, an International Coaching Federation approved training program. In addition to her coaching she attended the Center for Courage and Renewal’s Courage to Lead program.

Jennifer and husband Dean have two children, live in Greenville SC and loves spending time on the Swamp Rabbit trail enjoying all the outdoors has to offer.
